is there a "lease swap" site that anyone could reco?

Also, is that a terrible idea? Is lease-swapping a scam? Will BMWFS allow you to do it?

I'd love anybody's thoughts on how to get out of a lease since I lost my job. (Not a sob story, just not doing the commute and don't need it now).

thanks!

I've never done a lease swap before, but I've been told in the past that this is a good site:

I used Swap a lease. I got out of my car last month to make way for a new one. It was a pretty simple process. They told me it would take up to 4 weeks for it to go through once I found someone willing to takeover. It only took me 4 days and the car was in his name. I highly recommend it, I paid 150.00 and saved myself 1000s. I almost traded in the car and I would have taken a 5,000 hit, I got smart and decided to be a little patient and try swap a lease. A week later I found someone, and 4 days later the car was gone. Great service!

You could also list it in the for sale section- always seem to be a few lease assumption questions in there. What are the specs on your car?

take my lease?...

The spec is 2009 335i sport, shadowline trim, RWD, 18 inch rims (style 287), space grey, nav, seat heaters, ipod adaptor, bluetooth, comfort access (don't have to use key thing) 6MT. I bought it last May. It has 9,104 highway miles. I pay 705 a month. I would be happy to take pix if you like, unfortunately with 17 inch snows on (which I'd include happily).

My car in summer looks exactly like this one though (scroll down to pic):

thanks for the replies, that makes me feel much better about it. Since it costs money to subscribe, I got suspicious. So, BMWFS, doesn't give you any crap about it?
