BMW and Snow in Montreal

I am planning to travel from Connecticut to Montreal, Canada in the next two days. I see that it is going to snow over the next couple of days per the weather report.

I will be visiting Montreal for the first time in snow and dont have an Idea about the road cleaning / snow conditions etc.

I have a 335i (Rear wheel). Anyone knows how would it do? in the next three days in Montreal and on the Highway to Montreal.

Thanks for the inputs!

As long as you are running snow tires on all four corners, you should be fine. If not, don't even leave CT.

Yup I live in MTL, they plow the roads fairly quickly and often...but, stay in an interior garage once in MTL as the parking spots well,.... the snow is not"removed" so quickly...

If you don't have winter tires, first of all you won't get past the adirondacks, then if you pass them, once in Montreal, there's a few climbs to get to downtown... you won't get pass them, and that's if the police won't stop you before as winter tires are mandatory...

P.S. no significant snow for the next few days BUT... right now... icy rain... hmmm

If you don't have snow tires and rely on high performance summer tires as your Sport Pack suggests, don't come to Montreal... just don't.

No it is a bit different, i should correct discoboy, they're not potholes, they're crateres. almost like the ones you see at night when you look at the moon.

Where's the OP? He hasn't said if he was thinking about tackling that trip (through mountains!) on summer tires. Or if he already has winters on.
