2010 E90. Do I have BT?
Hi Guys,
My first BMW, still brand new. Didn't get BT/Assist option. I lifted the trunk lining and expected to see nothing in an area just behing the rear seats. Instead, I found some module with a Bluetooth logo on it and a bunch of wires connected to it. On top of it sits a bracket to mount something else. I've no clue what that might be Does anyone know what that is? Is it really a BT module and that's simply not activated? Thanks.

That's the MULF-HI module, used primarily in the USA as the iPod/USB adapter. Outside the USA this is also used for Bluetooth connectivity.
No dealer in the USA is capable of coding this module for Bluetooth with their OEM systems (there's no USA retrofit path in ISTA/P), although it could be coded by Autologic if somebody takes on that project. |

Does it mean I can retrofit it to 6Fl easily (is it pre-wired)? All I really want is to be able to use iPhone snap-in adapter to secure my phone and charge it.
I've BMW Y-cable and it kind of sucks. Any good links for the retrofit?

Your car already have 6FL, you took photos of it. Perhaps you meant 6NF, which there's no retrofit available at all, much less when your MY2010 car does not have the phone pre-wire standard anymore.
