I'm wondering the same thing. I mean, they're cool things to hang on the garage wall as decorations but a bit more useful in the car.

It's the little details that make the difference. I'm not a fan of the tuner wheels; but the BMW M-Tech wheel is awesome. :rocks:

George!!! How are the other projects going? my roomate and I replaced the sports steering wheel on his e90 with the M-sports wheel 2 weeks ago, pretty simply and I am more then confident you can do it. I am guessing ur having a problem taking the airbag off. This is the exact problem we encountered when trying to follow the DIY. Feel around on the back of the steering wheel for two small slots (one on each side), they are hard to see and only big enough for a small screwdriver. The easiest way to find them is to feel around for an indentation on the wheel and they are right there. Once you find the opening just put the screw driving in there and feel around, the air bag isn't too hard to pop out.

PS-straz how is the 335 treating you? Any more pics?

Hope that helps,

Dan

I don't have the car yet...the 335i will be in sometime early decemeber...I want to put on a M5 wheel with paddles...I'm not really a fan of the SSG style shifters since I've gotten so used to the old ones...
