Metallic ticking noise coming from the suspension?
Hi to everybody,
i have noticed a metallic ticking noise (probably coming from the suspension) every time that i park my car. The noise stops after a few minutes but i have no logical explanation about it, since it comes sometimes from the front sometimes from the rear and sometimes from both sides of my car. None of my cars that have in the past had a similar noise. Any suggestions??? |

Could it be the engine cooling down? I hear a "ticking" noise too after I park my car, but I always assumed it was the engine cooling off.

yeah, its the metal of the exhaust (not suspension) contracting.
There are lots of threads on this topic.
