M Sport wheels come with RFT's?

Do both the 18 and 19 inch option on the M sport Package come with run flat tires or regular tires?

Are those run flats? I ask because If the car has runflat, I will be paying another 900.00 for a tire protection plan, sense I am prone to getting nails. It not, then thats another 900 I can spend on the car.

I think they all come with RFT's and have for a few years.

They're still runflats...

And to answer the OP's question: yes.

RFTs with nail punctures can usually be repaired, providing the nail is in the tread area and not in the sidewall. When tire/rim protection for RFTs was selling for $500 two years ago, it might have been worth buying. But @ $900+, it makes no sense to me when most punctures are repairable for $30 - $100 depending on whether the repair is done by a tire shop or your dealer. Keep in mind that such a protection plan will not reimburse you for curb damage to rims.

I think it is worth it for me. In the first 2 weeks of owning my 2009 335 I got a nail and it was replaced right away. It would have cost me a new tire. The last car I had I must have gotten over 8 nails in a year and a half. The way I see it, I may never have to get new tires the way I collect nails.

+2.

Don't fall for the dealer's ploys to get extra money from you. These policies are pure profit, and wouldn't exist if they didn't produce big bucks. Most dealers have a specific person designating to selling you all this stuff - rust protection, Simoniz treatment, wheel/tire insurance, and whatever other crap they feel like pushing.

FYI, I was told (@ BMWSD, at least), that they are going to no longer offer wheel and rim protection after the end of the year (I'm going to assume this is dealership specific).

The M's are the only cars that I'm aware of that do not come with RFT's. Also, thanks to the fact that the M-Sport cars do is how I have 193Ms with Michelins on them on my car. :P

All 18 and 19 in the 335 are RFTs. I dont think there is room in the trunk for a spare to be hidden lik emost other cars. I could be wrong about the room part

I'm wondering if the people saying they have Michelins are aware that they do make a PS2 in a runflat. My non M 335 came with them.
