Tint and Clear Coat in Norcal?
Hi,
I've just moved to San Francisco and my 335 coupe should arrive mid next month. Can anyone tell me where a good place to go to get windows tinted and have that clear coat car bra thingy done? Thanks, Matt |

Sydney @ http://www.automalltintfactory.com/270511.html
tint would be around 250-300 for all 7 windows i think the clear bra would be 800 for the front bumper, headlights, etc

MobileAutoConcepts.com
Hi,
Congrats on the new car. I just received my 335i coupe and installed the clear bra. I was worried how it was going to look but it came out looking great. After careful research, it seems that 3M products are the best b/c they are the most durable and do not yellow. In addition, 3M gives you a lifetime warranty and a $1K warranty for any damage which the clear bra was unable to protect the car from. Anyway, Checking out the 3M website, the following company is the only authorized dealer: Mobile Auto Concepts www.MobileAutoConcepts.com (415) 265-3262 800 407-4441 The owner, Wally Ghnaim is a really great guy and they did a fantastic job. They are mobile however I do not live far from their shop so I dropped it off. He even gave me a ride back to my house. He does all the high end cars and even designed Barry Bond's Bentley treatment. Anyway. his price is reasonable and the work is excellent. If you do speak with him, mention that Bobby recommended you and he might give you a deal. Best of luck! |

Omega in Pleasanton is the place to go if you can make the drive out there. The one guy that runs the place has built a solid reputation over the years... A LOT of people recommend that place.
Automall tint factory is not that great. Another good place is south bay auto glass (San Jose)... I don't think they are anything special, but they are super cheap and do a clean enough job. My cousin and her bf and another one of our friends has gotten a total of 6 cars done there and no complaints.

Bump for Omega Tintwerks in Pleasanton, got my Acura TL and will be getting my 328i tinted there as well. Ask for Vincent, he's the owner and a really nice guy. Also installs the clear bra too.
