Advice on changing my own oil??

I would like to change my own oil from now on between the scheduled services.

My question is what special tools will I need in changing my own oil?

Can this be done on jack stands?

If you have never done one before, I suggest you ask someone that knows how to do one to show you in person. There's a lot of little things the DIY in here won't tell you.

use a ramp to change your oil.

There are also kits out there that make it easy for DIYers to change there oil. Just do a search.
