E89 Z4 Enters Classic Adelaide Tarmac Rally

Folks,

I ran my new Z4 in the tour category of the Classic Adelaide last week...

It was perfect in every way, and handled like a dream!! The car has heaps of get up and go, plenty enough grunt to keep a Jag XK8 and a 370Z behind me!!

Any incidents or maintenance issues after a good hard run ??

Absolutely no problems at all!... we did over 1100KM over the 5 days, and only had to adjust tyre pressures and re-fuel!... Handling was exceptional, especially in Sports + mode (mine has the adaptive suspension).. The brakes were brilliant, with no hint of fade at any point. I must admit that having read a few comments on Zpost, I wasn't expecting the car to behave as well as it did..
