tpms reset?

so i was driving home and the red tpms showed up. i dont have a flat, but all of my tires were low. so i filled them up, reset tpms, and its still there.

do i need to drive the car around for it to go away?

thanks.

ps- tried search. got nothing.

I had the same problem. When you reset TPMS, you have to select the function by pressing in. Then, you have to press it in again for a few seconds to activate the reset mechanism. A checked box should appear after you start moving. Try it out, I think that is the sequence. At any rate, you kind of have to push in twice, holding the second push for a few seconds. Correct me if I am wrong, but that is how I did it.

Good luck.

I don't have to press twice. This is how I do it:

(with Idrive)

Go into the maintenance menu, tpms, click reset. Start driving, and the car will shortly tell you tpms is active. Then you are good to go. If you don't drive, it won't reset.
