When will PS2 ZP be avail for 325/328 sport pkg?

225/45-17 and 255/40-17

I will need to replace the god-awful Bridgestones in 4-6 months, or sooner if possible.

The Michelin USA website has the spec for the 225 in ZP, but the tire is not avail at Tirerack.

UPDATE I got this response from a web inquiry: "We currently have the Pilot Sport PS2 in zero pressure in your front size. Unfortunately, we do not make it in your rear size. We have no plans to make your rear size. We truly apologize for the inconvenience."

I figured this was a mistake, and called them. Apparently not (talk about ignoring a big market segment), and submitted a customer request to their marketing dept. If you want this tire, you might do the same.

Call [Michelin USA] at 1-800-847-3435 (toll free) between 8:00AM and 8:00PM Eastern Time Monday through Friday or between 8:30AM and 4:30PM Eastern Time on Saturday.

I called Michelin about the same thing a few months ago and got the same answer. I assume it's a numbers game. There probably isn't a big enough market to justify the production of 255/40/17's.

OR

They are limiting production until they have enough units out there to make sure the technology is solid.
