Hell, even with the perfect offset, you will still rub on the wheel liners depending on the BRAND of tire you choose. So to answer you question in a more realistic way... A 235/265 setup will work much better fitment wise. Now some guys have made the 255 square setup work by slightly modifying their wheel liners to clear some of the 255 tires that run a little 'big'. (slightly larger than the rated size) I'm not suggesting this myself, I'm just mentioning what other people have done to expand the fitment options for your car. Personally, I never recommend modifying the car to make the wheels or tires fit...but that's just me.
