San Antonio - Nov. 13 - 1/4 mile Track

Hey guys,

I'm headed to the track outside of San Antonio on i-10 east. My buddy will be there also in his 370z w/ a couple friends and their cars.

If any 335i's are in the area and want to come on out we'll be getting there around 7:30pm.

Hope to see you there!

We'll see, didn't realize we had a track that close, thought the nearest one was in Ennis.

I should have been 06, I drank a lot. I use the word "drank" like it's in the past,

We had a great time, but the track had some issues. For starters neither lane was prep'd that well - and the left lane was quite a bit better (if that's possible).

As can see by our 60ft, it was pretty tough launching. Even our buddies AWD Audi TT was spinning. We had an rx7 with full bolt on's that couldn't grip either. The rx7 was running 14's.

Here are two of the 6 runs I had. Both of these are versus the 370z. The 370z had berk hi-flow cats and stillen intake.

I'm in left lane here. DTC on half.

I'm in right lane here. DTC off completely.

Just used to Houston Raceway Park where you can actually lay it down and not spin out. I've got slips w/ 2.00 from stock runflats from there.

I'm running new Nitto Invo's also, may not be a great track tire

Nope, didn't get to run him in the 1/4 either.

I did do 60-130 rolls w/ the 370z(berk HFC cats & stillen intake) and a rx-7(intake, downpipes, exhaust). Put a good 5-6 car lengths on the rx-7 and 4-5 on the 370z. The rx-7 really hung w/ me till about 100mph where it lost a lot of power. The 370z was consistent the whole time - just slower.

I think the 370z's are going to be a monster once they get some kind of power adder.
