HD Radio Inoperative

Wanted to share this in case some of you encounter this... a quick search turned up nothing.

My '09 E92 M3 was built 6/15/09, delivered to me in Munich on 7/3 and back in the US on 8/17. I have no idea what software it came with. About a month after redelivery, I could no longer tune HD stations, only getting the standard AM/FM. Took the car in when I had something else to look at, and new software alone fixed the HD problem. The paperwork only stays ISTAP Programming, no version number. My car does have iDrive.
