Radar Detector

I have been looking at the Valentine One and Passport radars. I am looking for feedback on which one is preferred. I dont care about the camera function with the new passport, and do like the direction arrows of the Valentine. Also considering the cordless Solo. Any thoughts?

V1, and hard wire it.
Don't even consider a cordless model they aren't even worth your time.

I use the 8500 and it works pretty well. I would say go with 9500ix.

i have the 9500 and love it, but sometimes wish i had gone V1 for the arrows... all in all, you can't go wrong with either one

I personally do not think the arrows matter that much. If you feel that you are being radared, you have to break no matter what.

I lean a bit more to the V1. I have the passport in the x5 and the V1 in the 335i. They both have their benefits with the V1 getting the edge. Cant go wrong between the two. The v1 sounds better and isnt as long and bulky. Both are hardwired. Its easy and the only way to go.

I have well over 300,000 miles of commuting experience over the past six years with my V1.

Without the arrows, a radar detector is only providing half of the info you need to know.
