Anybody hooked up bt tool to idrive?
Id like to hook up the bt tool display info to my idrive, gtr style. I assume that this is the only way to do it?
bt tool > netbook > tvnav2go > idrive A small netbook could be put in the glove box and removed when not in the car. The controls would need to be used on the netbook, but the display or data logging would be on the idrive screen. Its mostly for kicks or impressing passengers. Thoughts?

All the video interfaces I've seen have a yellow-RCA composite video in, and a 16:9 or 4:3 video out which is stretched across the Cinemascope 2.35:1 iDrive screen.
So I think it would be illegible. Therefore, I doubt I would be impressed |

Really? So the nav2go or whatever connector is used, doesnt have any configurability options? I was really hoping to get the bt tool on the screen. Thanks
