Come to Daddy!
I took the advise offered from you guys and went to a dealers well out of my way and got the car I've been tracking/stalking for about four weeks. Pick it up in two weeks time, after I return from a long deserved break in the sun with "she who must be obeyed......well some of the time anyway!"
Thought it only right and proper to post the spec. Spec: E93 Convertible 2008. Silverstone II Extended Red Fox Interior, 19" M Double-spoke alloy wheels, Adaptive HeadlightsArmrest- Front with sliding adjustment. Bluetooth phone prep ConnectedDrive-AssistBMW, ConnectedDrive-Online, CD changer, Comfort Access, Loudspeaker system - LOGIC7 Professional, Park Distance Control- (PDC), front and rear, Seat heating-front, Seven-speed Double Clutch Transmission, USB interface, Voice Control, Navigation-system Professional, M DriveRain sensor with auto headlight activation Cruise control. Thankfully it had PS2's fitted as I have no intention of taking it to the ring so Cups were not needed or wanted. But as the man says "each to their own!" I had few extras thrown in and got a good deal to boot. I couldn't be happier, can't wait to pick it up and just drive, drive and drive! Needles to say, when she arrives home to be pampered photos well be posted. But once again, many thanks to you all for your advice. Flapps PS. Has anyone taken up the tyre insurance offered by dealerships?........If so I'd appreciate your thoughts/comments.

Congrats
Good specs too. Get some pics when you have it. Not heard of the tyre insurance before....not too sure why they offer that as you can pick up PS2's relatively cheaply if you look around. I would consider the shortfall / gap insurance if they offer you that though? Marc |

Kadesdad,
The tyre insurance works like this i think. You pay £390 up front and that "allows" you to have a certain amount of blow-outs in five years. I think its 5, but I stand to be corrected! If you have run flats, sounds a good deal as they cant be repaired. Obviously M's don't run on run flats so if you budget on £250 a corner it makes sense. Of course I have only just joined the hallowed ranks of M3 ownership and not experienced shopping around for PS2's.....yet!!!!! As far as the GAP insurance goes I managed to get them to stump up half the premium so very pleased about that. Flapps
