Clock, Date, Trip Odometer
I have a 2008 335I Coupe with 8,000 miles on it, had it for almost two years. My Clock, Date, and Trip Odometer goes to "0" once in awhile. The dealer keeps telling me that I don't drive the car enough and thats why this happens. They tell me that the battery gets low and this resets these items. I never had a problem starting the car, its just the clock, date, and the trip odometer that give me trouble. I would love to know if this is happening to other people and if the dealer is correct?

Wow only 4K miles per year should make a good resale. My understanding is these cars suck some battery when not in use. You'd probably be OK if you're starting it up once a week. Not sure on that but I'll check mine next time I leave it garaged for a while.
