Cd Player! Strange Noise

When my car is unlocked and has sit for 5-10 minutes when i open the door i hear the cd player making this strange noise. It sounds like it is trying to eject a cd but there is not a cd in there ( it only lasts like 5 seconds) And when there is a cd in there it will not make this sound after it has been sitting a while when i open the door! could anyone check their cars for this noise? THANKS

Family friend's '07 328xi does this same thing. I'd say it's totally normal. Oddly enough, my car doesn't make this sound ever.

try sitting in it for about 5 minutes the open the door and see if you hear it! its kinda hard to notice if your not really paying attention or if it is noisy outside!

My car does this, but it's not the CD player, its the Navigation DVD system.
