Zaino in Toronto?
Hi, I've had my E90 330i since end of May. It's been 3 months now, so I think it's about time to wax. I'd really like to use Zaino, but it seems to be a fairly extensive procedure and I live in a condo. Does anyone know of a place in the Toronto area that will apply Zaino for you? I'd do it myself, but I'm not sure I want to hog the car wash area in the building for 3 hours. Maybe with a lot of buckets in my own parking stall...

Once you wash the car, you really don't need to be in a wash stall. The Zaino process is just a matter of putting on coats of polish then wiping them off. You will mist with the Z6 in between coats, no water needed.
Give it a try, it'll be some bonding time with you and your car. Good Luck.

Wash with Dawn.
Dry. Apply Z2. Dry. Wipe off Z2. Wipe down with Z6 spray. Do another coat of Z2. Finish with a last coat of Z6. This is the minimum. If you've already gotten some swirls, I would suggest a coat or two of Z5 before going into the Z2. Also, if you've gotten some imperfections or hard water spots, you can do some spot claying while after washing, during rinse. Seems like a bit, but really can be a nice afternoon chore.

Thanks to all that replied. I had no idea that the process didn't require water in between. So, when you say dry and wipe off Z2, do you mean to do so with a dry cloth? Thanks again. This is a great community. It makes the ownership of a E90 that much more enjoyable.

The Z2 or Z5 need to sit on the car for at least half an hour (the longer the better) to dry, assuming you use the ZFX accelerator.
Once it has completely dried you then wipe off with a dry cotton cloth. when you use the Z6 spray, you just spray on and wipe off quickly. The secret it to wipe down your car in straight lines. Front to back, top to bottom. Post a review and pics once you've done it.
