E92 order in, December b-day delivery!

Hey all,

Just got back this evening from the dealership. After driving the 335 and 328 coupes, I concluded the 328xi was the only reasonable conclusion for getting a coupe and living with it during the winter season.

So, I chose the following:
328xi Coupe
-Space gray
-Black interior
-Aluminum trim
-Sports pack with all seasons (style 185 wheels)
-Winter pack
-iDrive + Nav
-Comfort access
-Rear park assist

Woohoo! The option-choosing process was the most agonizing element after realizing the 335 wasn't a reasonable car for me.

Anyway, the dealer says the car will be in for December delivery, and possibly in for my b-day!

Congrat on your new car I think you made the right choice 328Xi instead of 335i. I'm not a big fan of bi-turbo never buy the first year model who know if there are any problems ?

Why xDrive? Didn't you know that powersliding on the snow and rain not knowing where you will end up or if you will be alive is the most fun way to drive?

DrRT,

Drove a 330ci back a couple years through two winters, and the powersliding certainly was fun. Actually, it wasn't that aspect that made me choose xDrive for the new coupe... It was the fact that when it snows, the hill where my house resides is so steep we can't get any traction if any bit of the road freezes.

At least this way I can enjoy the coupe no matter the season or the road conditions (for the most part).

Congrats on your new car!!! The only thing is that now you have to WAIT and trust me it gets under your skin, LOL..... Over time it becomes more of an obsession than anything else. I keep pulling my hair everyday my car isn't here and I have been waiting for a month now.

Congrats on the car; it'll make it a memorable b-day. I took delivery of my E90 4 days before my birthday. Best present I could buy for myself.
