first post, taking delivery in 1.5months

Hi guys, I would like to introduce myself to this great bmw forum I recently discovered.

I have a 2005 Mini Cooper S with chili package, black leather, 17" rims and a few more extras....the car only has 5.900kms..it is just perfect since the mileage has increased since new, the sound is more present at cabin and of course fuel consuption has been reduced ..

I would like to know any other users that drive their cooper S, and some recomendations of sports exhausts in the market

Today we ordered a E90 320d, speccs as follows:

exterior colour:titansilver
interior colour:terracota leather
Motorsport package
18" sport M wheels , (reference number...2MF.
Xenon lights
Automatic gearbox
Bmw radio professional
Alarm
wood interior
and some other minor options that are not too important...

I gaved the deposit today, and the car will arrived between the 10th-15th of November..I am already bored waiting !!!!!

As I still have some time to change or add some options, I would like to know if its really worth the HI-FI Professional LOGIC7 audio system (1.400 euros) or is it just ok going for the 600euros bmw radio professional that also reads mp3...

Also for those that have test driven and more importantly that have the 320d.....would like to know their point of view of the 163bhp motor...how noisy it is, the power reaction it has etc etc....real fuel consumption

The price of the car I ordered is 4.000euros more than a basic 330d....I dont know if adding some sport wheels, automatic and leather deleting the sport M package and the other options to the 330d will be a better choice than the 320d fully equipped (except the navi and sun roof )....Its just that I love the M package and my price range is limited (as everyone i suppose )...ahh decisions decisions !!!!!!

I have driven a rented 120d, and I was absolutely surprised how it perform, really really fast!!!!!....went up to 220kph really easy i must say!!

Well guys this is it for now, hope this post is not that big to read, and would like to know if there is something missing in the option list...

thanks in advice,
Alex

If you really like your music, then the Logic7 might be worth it for you. For me, the slight increase in sound quality was not worth the extra cash. Of course it is subjective, so I suggest you go to a dealer, bring a CD and ask to listen to a Logic7 system.

Alex,

Congrats on stepping up from a "baby" BMW (MINI) to the real thing. I've driven MINIs quite a bit, and although they're great little cars, the BMWs are in a whole other league.

Best!
