using factory LCD as external monitor?

Is it possible to use the factory LCD as an external monitor so I can hook up my PC to play video files?

Yes, there are video adapters that work with the up to MY2008 iDrive screen.

tvandnav2go... google it they are available and I myself have been trying to get more information on it for sometime i dont think anyone has it on this forum no feedback or comments...
