More Z4 M-Sport on the Nurburgring....

Auto Motor und Sport's photogs have been able to snap some more pictures of the red E89 Z4 that were posted up earlier (and of higher resolution). ( http://e89.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=302539 ). Nevertheless these pictures do show the car is a different perspective and makes me appreciate more-so where BMW is going with this design.

It's funny that they go through a lot of trouble to camouflage the new bits, but didn't bother to use the same paint color. FWIW

Curious about this red box on the front - some sort of sensor I'm guessing.

It's a transponder? For recording track times.

maybe it will be a limited M-Sport color and the regular red will not be available with it, so vs. painting the whole car new they just used a color close to it?

I especially love how they camouflage the emblem: as if the two big kidney grills don't give away what it is

Did someone heard about the 272 horsepower motor in the Z4 soon (maybe at the same time as the M sport package will be available) ?
