Umm... call progressive?

These type of threads typically never produce any useful results. My post included

However, if your planning to buy new, I would first suggest you research your car. A *new* 325i will be very hard to come by in Las Vegas.

I am 27, and got quoted for $1900/year with AAA for a 2006 325i. Both my collision and comprehensive deductibles are $500, while my liability coverage is 100/200/50.

I'm 25 and 5 driving years experience with accident free
I got a quote from Geico for my 2007 328XI about $600 a year and Allstate $700 a year (this include comprehensive and collision with $500 deductible) without towing and car rental. I also got quote from Progressive for about $1000 a year. So, I think Geico and Allstate are good insurance company.

I am paying less for my 325i than I was paying for the Accord (both new).
For my wife's minivan and my 325 comes to $1800/year ($150/month) full coverage, $250 deductable with Geico. I am 34, she's 30.
It also depends where you live -- moving from Phoenix to Dallas area it dropped by $50/year

Increasing your deductibles to $1000 would bring your premium down a few hundred.

You seem to be doing everything right but your age will always be a factor until you get to 25, married and have multiple cars. Just keep up the good driving record!

Yeah, increasing collision to $1000 drops it to around $1600, while $1000 for comprehensive would drop it at least $100. I also haven't told them about BMW Assist, so maybe that would drop it down some too...

I dunno, do you guys think it's worth it to increase the deductibles to $1000? Aren't like minor bumper damage, window breaks, etc. all under $1000?

+1 thats what I do. Plus if you have a $500 deductible and a repair is $850 you will most likely just pay the $850 out of your pocket and not go through all of the issues with car insurance.

Good luck with progressive..I have noticed that they are more expensive than most, because they will insure anyone...Try allstate..I am leaving progressive and switching to allstate when my 335 comes in...
I am currently paying $2200/year on my 2004 Acura Rsx-Type S, and allstate quoted me at roughly $1500 for the year on the 335

I can't believe what some of you guys are paying. I pay under $400 for 6-months? Full coverage (100k/200k/100k and $250 deductible) 26-married and it's my 23 year old wifes car.....

I'm 40 and single and basically I pay $2K/yr for a 330xi with $500 deductible 100/300 coverage. It's through Liberty Mutual and it's the cheapest that I could find. Most other companies were in the $2200 range.

im about the same as you. i paid 1120 with mercury full coverage last period when i was 19. i did not submit grades (which would deduct 20% off). I am on the same policy as my parents and cost went down compared to when i first bought the car in january by a couple hundred dollars. I think you can do better than 1200.
