color choice opinions

hey, I will be posting here more frequently now since I just placed my order on a 335. I'm selling my 06 530i which is monaco blue. I have decided against dark colors this time around, but I am stuck between white and montego blue...which one to get?!

Go with Alpine White. It is my second choice after TiAg. White will be easy to care for and has a classic look. The blue is nice too, but you may tire of it.

White is much loved by American and Asian members, but nobody orders it here in Europe. Possibly the worst colour imaginable, IMHO, but I recognize that it's all just a personal prefernce thing...

I don't know much about the German market, TBH, but certainly in France & the UK, a white luxury car is almost impossible to sell.

Awesome combo!

I would get AW over Montenego Blue because you already had a Blue car and might get bored of it too quick. AW is Great because
1) Easy to maintain
2) Scratches arent visible as a Darker car
3) Shows off the cars lines
4) Looks bigger
5) Classy and sporty at the same time

AW will absorb a cops laser detector easily.

A darker color won't

Also, in the U.S. black is popular in the N.E. region. White is
popular in the South. Black is classy, white is clean and pristine looking
and waxed can actually look better in white.

The colour white is "white" because it reflects all of the colours in the visible spectrum. It reflects more than any other colour and absorbs very little light. I.E. it has a high albedo. Are you saying that it actually absorbs in the near infra-red used by lasers?
