That is iGo software, they offer it out to third parties on touch screen devices, so looks like they have just ripped the screen out of a case and put it in the oem housing instead, good idea really.
You doing a double din fascia for the 1 series Rich?? Or even a nice housing for nav that could go where the storage tray goes maybe?? |

Do mate, I have just bought another 1er and I'm itching to put something in.
I see a couple of Jap companies are offering them, maybe you could order one from them to get the basic dimensions and then make it better?? |

That looks interesting, but I have my doubts about using it while driving.
It's not like a Lexus where the screen is right there, the iDrive screen is recessed, which will probably make it difficult to use. |
