As far as I was told from my SA that that is a standard feature they don't even care to mention anymore. Not sure if it's correct or not since I haven't had my car in winter conditions yet. Anyone else?

In the UK (and in Europe as well I think) the heated exterior mirrors and windscreen washer jets are standard on the ES & SE models only.
Option 313 (exterior mirror package) would provide this, if it was ordered on the the ordinary model.

I don't know if it can be retro-fitted- ask your dealer.
