Voice Commands - Any Good Manuals?

Any good manuals for voice activation? I have Bluetooth (no Nav) and my cell phone (BlackBerry 8300) connects and works well, but can't seem to get the voice commands to work

ie: "Dial Home" -

If there a way to link the voice command to the balckberry's?

Can't find it in any manuals

The manual is a problem. Some of the commands were dead wrong in mine.
You cant link the two systems (voice), that I am aware of. The non idrive voice phonebook is its own phonebook and doesnt correspond to the entries downloaded over bluetooth. Which stinks because it would be nice to simpy attach a voice command to that entry.. You will have to go through the process of adding all the Names + Numbers into this seperate phonebook.

Use the "New Name" command to enter in a new entry. Follow the process of entering the name and number and then use the command "Save Name" when the number is completed (it wont prompt you to do so). When entering the number you have to pause between sets like area code, first 3, and last 4 to allow the computer to read it back to you along the way.

Then use "Dial <Name>" to call the <Name> entry you just entered. BTW, "Help" will give you a short audio list of the commands available.

1.Use the command "Phonebook"
2.You will then be asked to say a name.
3.Say"Home"
4.You will be asked"Do you want me to connect you to home"
5.Say "Yes"

Let us know how you get on ....the key is to enter the phonebook via the voice control.

He said no nav, i.e no i-drive. The i-drive is a bit different.

I too do not have nav. What you have to do is save the ones you use the most. There is no "dial home" thing like idrive. After the beep say "add name" then follow the directions. At the end the proper command is "save". After you have entered them then you say "name" after the beep and then say the name after the "who would you like to call" prompt. then it asks you if you want to call whoever and you say "yes".

I believe you can say "help" and the system will tell you all of the voice commands that it recognizes.

In the '09s, if you say 'Voice Commands' it will give you the currently available voice commands based on the sub-menu or screen you are currently viewing.

Use the word "options" and you will get a main menu and submenu's to give you the correct language or work track
