335i test drive

Visited my local SoCal dealer yesterday and test drove a TiAg 335i cpe.

This is a very fast car...............

It was nearly as quick as my 02' M3 which says a lot and at 47k that's not to bad...... I was also surprised at rear seat leg room. Believe or not it's actually a little bit better than the sedan........

Overall it's a great car and will have no prob beating the IS350 or new G35. The power is really that good.

It felt as quick as an M3 to me as well. The 335i engine note was amazing better than any BMW I've driven,M3 included. The engine sound between the 330i auto and the 335i manual is day and night.Even the 335i auto didn't sound as loud/good and lively as the manual 335i.

The only thing that stopped me from pulling the trigger and forget about my pending order was the color, not a big fan of space gray but the coral red interior looked amazing.

it felt faster than an m3 to me....i don't know where the post is but there are many times of m3 vs c55 vs 335, and the passing speeds are much faster for the 335. from 80-120 and all the speeds like that the 335 eats the others up alive.

I don't think it is quite as quick as the M3, but the power is down low and you get pushed back in your seat. To get that same feel out of the M3 you have to get it up above 5000 rpms. It definitely handles well, and is much more comfortable than the M3. I see it as a perfect blend of performance, comfort, and technology.

don't lie, the rear passenger room in the coupe is not much worse than the sedan, but its definately not better.
