Hey guys I started a thread on M3F and e46 fanatics. I am looking at putting together a day Gap trip. Might leave from the BMW Performance center in Greer, SC. If I can find interested parties, I will put it together. Post up if interested. This trip will be to the gap, blue ridge prky, cherellaha sky way, joyce kilmer, and other cool roads. Let me know!!!

ha. well, they're all special order now with a 1-2 week wait. i already had Way order one for me, so it should be going in this weekend, if not this week. I appreciate the offer, though!

Yeah we need dates....I have a soccer match on Friday so that is not a good day for me.

i checked his threads on the aforementioned forums, he's thinking 4 weeks or so.

let's do it sooner. :]

if we need to make it a weekday to steer clear of high-traffic, let's do it. but make it at least 2 weeks ahead so everyone can make arrangements to take the day off.

if it's 4-5 weeks away, i'll probably have my coilovers by then. woohoo!

Weekday is good for me. The less traffic the better. A lot of people will be doing Oktoberfest in a couple of weeks (including me) so that week is out.

A weekday is fine for me as well as long as we have at least a week to schedule.

@tkbrown: I went and got my helmet yesterday. I spoke to the owner for about 45 minutes...they had a couple of cool projects in the back: E36 SCCA car, old E36 hatchback racer, and a cool Datsun....all in all a good little road trip. They will have a trailer out there as well.

ha, well after seeing the difference that non-RFT's make, i cannot wait for the front sway bar. it's only right to get on the curves at that point.

I would say in hindsight I would have went with the non-rft's in the stock tire sizes first and then the front sway second and the coils last as well...did you get my PM concerning our potential business transaction?

yeah, that's what i'm doing - except i got 225/255's instead of 215/245's.

A weekday would be great, however a majority needs it to be a weekend. I would totally prefer a weekday!!!
