Sunroof Malfunction

Hi Folks,

Need some help for the sunroof malfunction as I tried to open the Sunroof the other day after I turned down the ignition and whilst, my son was taking out the key for me so that, all electric power was gone which casued the sunroof stuck! I then, entered the key again but now, the sunroof cannot be open anymore but merely vertical up and down..Also, the on board computer has a fault code everytime I start the engine...I checked my owner's manual which recommended to go BMW service for a sunroof reset...

Curious to know if there is any other way to do this besides going back to the dealer for reset??

There is a reset I think you hold the button for a while,you can call the dealer and they can tell you how to do it.

Apparently, I have to call the dealer then...... I thought you folks may know what to do in light of your knowledges for this car...

Sunroof will require a dealer visit in order to be reset.
