Error on bmwusa.com configurator?

I might be doing something wrong, but it looks like there is an error with the new 335i sedan configurator...

If you add leather as an interior option, it adds $2,900 to the price of the car. But...the premium package that includes leather is only $2,450.

When you add the premium package after selecting leather, it adds $1,000 to the price, implying the stand-alone leather price should be $1,450, not $2,900.

Does everyone see this, our am I missing something?

Yeah there is something screwy when you add leather then add prem pkg. I'm sure someone at BMWUSA will catch it or be alerted to it and get it fixed.

another error

This one is more nit-picky, but the site lets you pick "Paddle Shifters" without picking automatic and the sport package. Easy programming to incorporate this logic.

I just called about the pricing issue, but the woman didn't seem to really care. She said, "I try to get that taken care of for you". I said, "for me? Uh, it's for you!" She was just giving me the canned customer service response. Kind of dissapointing. We'll see how long it takes them to fix it.

Who wants to guess how long it takes them? I say Wednesday of next week.

You have to forgive them. They same guy who writes the software for the car's computer system also maintains the web site.

LOL - seriously though, how hard would it have been to make this stuff work outta the gate? It makes me wonder just who is manning the market facing IT staff at BMW USA. Come on guys, this is like amateur hour. The damn configurator is a bug ridden p.o.s.

Agree. This is a very easy bug to check for. No excuse for any company, let alone a large company like BMW.
