Possible to get the gauge cluster to do a start up sequence?

With the two gauge cluster mods, white leds and m3 needles, the only thing lacking is the start up sequence like found on the sti and s5.

If my $30 boost gauge can do it, then why cant my gauges? Any way to make them do a full sweep display?

(did a search, but found nothing)

Ok, so either this question has been asked a million times and I missed it, or nobody cares.

Am I the only one who thinks a start up sequence on the gauges is cool?

Shouldnt be too much work if my $30 boost gauge can do it. Subarus do it, the audi s5 does it. I cant imagine its that difficult.

Things are never difficult if something is designed to do it from the beginning. But modifying something that isn't designed to do something can be quite difficult. It's probably as "simple" as installing some sort of control module (s) in the car to sequence and send signals to all of the gauges. Of course, it would have to be programmed to do exactly what you want and be compatible with all of the rest of the car's systems.

yea the cluster selftest sweeps them really slowly so I imagine there could be a way to make them do it randomly... but that'll probably take some coding stuff that are impossible to access
