330i Chrome letter badge (Opinion)
Hey guys I need your opinion, I was thinking about taking off the 330i letter badge on the back of my car but I don’t know if it’s a good idea. My friends tell I should because it would look cleaner but I don’t know?

If you're going to do it, do it soon, or the sun will affect your paint AROUND the emblems. THEN when you take the emblem off, it will still be there! =(

You can always put it back on if you change your mind later.

One does not exist, but you can always make one yourself, just buy the letter and numbers.

The badge is an eyesore and serves no legitimate purpose. Suppose it's there as an identifier - but it's redundant and unnecessary. The enthusiast will be able to identify the model of your car by the trim and equipment it has (unless it's heavily modified, and at that point, who really cares?). The rest of the world doesn't matter - I honestly couldn't tell you what the "LS" on the back of a Mitsubishi Montero Sport means, and I'm somebody who actually notices such things. Think the average person understands or cares about the model number of your car?
I'll admit, though - I do like the way Porsche does their badges. They're always centered and written in a classy font. Their cars belong to a handful of examples where the badge actually compliments the car's appearance nicely.
