Austin Oktoberfest

Hello again everyone. This is preliminary but just wanting to get the word out for the next meet we're planning. As Tony stated during the Austin meet, which had a BIG turnout, we're throwing this meet out a lot earlier for those who need advance notice to be able to attend. As of now we're shooting for Austin due to central location. As for the date we're wanting to set it up for October 31st last Saturday of Oct. This is not mine or Tony's meet only but rather OUR meet for all BMW owners who enjoy meeting other BMW enthusiasts regardless of what series we own.

Anyways...

Austin Oktoberfest on October 31st Saturday

Need everyone's input please. Right location, wrong date? Wrong location, right date? Input please let's make this one bigger than the last.

Okay, so what we're thinking is a Halloween (BOO!merfest!) ......... a first for the Texas bimmers. As Carlos mentioned, we would like to include any & ALL BMW owners to attend as this is not limited to the 3 series cars.

I will be checking into a location that would be BBQ/beer/cater friendly as well as some local sponsorship and maybe a vendor or two from our beloved forum. (Did ya hear me vendors??)

We're getting the word out now so that all of you can begin to make plans .......
As of now, Austin is what we're thinking would be the place to hold the meet. Obviously, we would like to have as much input as possible from any & all as to location, date etc ... "other" German autos iinvited?

I will be contacting members of the local Austin BMWCCA chapter as well as other area chapters to make this an event to remember with an outstanding attendance. If any of those reading this are members of their area BMWCCA; maybe you could get the word out to your locals.

Feel free to post up questions, opinions ...... anything to help get this rollin'!

Im in! guys from DFW rolling down for this..we should dress up in costumes while driving lol...Drive with windows rolled down. See a nice bimmer and pull up next to it theres a gorilla inside? lol I have a chubacca suit i bought for a prank a few years back. This should be a fun meet.

oh man ill try would be alot easier if this was in the dfdub ive always wanted to go to a meet halloween is also my sisters bday this is going to be hard to convince my parents lol is there anyway this could be in dallas
