wut a loaded question, definately apples and oragnes. every1 has a bias, i've owned coupes all my life, but now have an e90. i just depends on your own personal taste and preference. some ppl like the sportiness of a coupe while others enjoy the convenience of 4 doors. they each have their strengths and weaknesses, but at the end of the day, they're both BMW's.
So would you rather have beer or liquor?

Coupe: Looks better, more upscale, handles better, better performance, less models out there (benefits from larger engines... for now.) Just overall a better option, unless you HAVE to have 4 doors

As it is this is such a rediculous question. I think what you really want to know is what are pros and cons of a coupe and sedan.

I think the major differences are just cosmetic. sports sedan is more practical in my opinion. more comfortable for your passengers. they both look pretty damn good though. Just think...would you prefer the M3 coupe or the M5 sedan?

IMHO, aesthetics is the only benefit of the coupe. It's about $4k more. That'll go towards a lot of options on a nice E90. I understand the interior may be a tiny bit nicer. I haven't yet been in an E92.
I think certain coupes are beautiful (the E92 is certainly no exception), but when there is a substantially similar sedan version, I don't see the point. You need to get the one that speaks to you. If you "settle" for something you don't truly want, you'll end up driving yourself crazy. |
