Searched for a while but don't know what's wrong.

I burned two different DVD's with folders full of MP3's through windows vista default format/burn/close session. They're not playing, the CD option is still grayed out (even after 20 minutes). 07 E92 335i 12/06 build.

Any suggestions? I really want to play a DVD MP3 tonight. Do I need to burn it with windows media player or something else?? Car is pre-wired CD changer but not installed - only options are FM/AM/CD/AUX on nav.

I did it a long time ago, but I think I did it using Windows Media Player. I was able to fit 53 Albums/CD's on one DVD and 136 songs on a CD. I don't use the music DVD because in the 08's I needed it for my Nav DVD.

im having the same issue i have an 06 330 and tried this yesterday and no luck. it skips a lot and takes forever to scan to a song. MP3 CDs work for me though

I just bought used 320D '06 and I have the same problem. I burned full DVD with MP3s and the CD icon is still inactive. Is there any chance to run MP3 DVD?
CDs are not nice, not just because of the capacity but nowadays it's harder to find CDs than DVDs.

same problem im my 06 325 coupe business navi, reads the dvd mp3 only half of it, whenever it feels like it..the other half of the cd skips and then it says could nt be read

so annoying, mp3 cds are no probl...but they are so 1999, im sure it could read dvd mp3 smoothly if this problem was to be sorted out..

DVD player is very picky about media that you use. Try to change to different brand of DVD blanks.
