Adding Subwoofer and Amp

Alright so I have a 12" w6v2 and a jl 500/1 amp and a 2 farad capacitor that i want to add. I have the logic 7 sound system on an 06 330i

I was wondering if i can just go to a place and have it installed or if i need a signal processor.

any help is appreciated

There should be a lot of install shops around SD. You do not need a sound processor. I do not have one and it sounds good without one. However I hear that it will sound better with a JL CleanSweep. I do not think that you will need the capacitor for a 500 watt subwoofer but it shouldn't hurt.

don't bother w/ a clean sweep if you're just adding a sub. check this out from crutchfield.com, it's exactly what you would need for the sub and it's only $130.

The sound is fine, only issue is my factory sub is no longer working. I'm trying to figure out that issue now.
