Facelift requests...
In the possibly vain hope that BMW read this site I thought it might be a good idea if we get our facelift requests in before they freeze the design.
Has anyone got any they would like to hope may be noticed. Here are mine. 1: Reduce general thickness of front end. Make horizontal the current 'bonnet edge to power bulge and then have a steeper rise to the pedestrian/bulge area. I've talked about this before. See the Ford Focus (and dare I say it an IS250) if you are not sure what I mean. 2: Sharpen bonnet bulge profile. Perhaps also make the power/pedestrian bulge end at the top corners of the grill instead of the wider span it presently uses. This being a similar change to the mark 1 and 2 e46 update. Compare the delicious and very low distance from the top of the wheel arch to the top of the wing/bonnet (at its edge) of e46 to the clumsy and high e90equivalent. 3. Add a small sill kickout in front of the rear wheel. Again referring to e46 as an example similar to MkI sport kit. 4. Those awful or at least challenging headlights. Please lose the sharp outer corner edge to the headlight. 5. Change the rear cluster to the aftermarket black lines they look great. Much appreciated. |

if BMW caves in to the general public in designing cars, they would all look like Toyotas.
leave it, I like it the way it is.

I want an iDrive system that's upgradable if new options/menu are being added

Facelift requests, already? Sheesh, the car has barely hit the streets!
Look at what too many facelifts can do!

That'll be the car from the company that released a model year update 6 weeks after I took delivery, and twelve weeks after it was released in the UK. I don't think its too much to ask the front is butt ugly period... |

Because this is what the general public wants their cars to look like?? Car design is a very complicated matter that involves many different parties. Some desings go against current trends (bangle era), others follow what is in style and the rest actually do rely on what customers want. If the public likes, the public spends $$$. |

if you thought the front was butt ugly, then you shouldn't have bought it
are you like girls who date assholes, knowing that they're assholes from the start, but figure "oh I can change them..." but hey, write to BMW to voice your concern if you like, if you do get them to change the design, I'll give you mad props Quote:

they need to sort out e90 stock rear end- it is the worst exterior part of the e90 and offer a spare tyre option for people not keen on RFTs
