Glovebox USB & iPod Question
I have the 6FL option on my 09 E92 and have run into some kind of strange behavior. I put 2 mp3's as a test on a USB thumb drive. I plug the drive into the glove box USB slot and nothing comes up. The USB drive is not listed as an option for something I can browse for music. My iPod in teh armrest comes up fine but not the USB stick. It is a 4GB USB stick. Does anyone have any problems with the USB stick? Does it have to be formatted some special way? My memory stick is formatted using Vista and has nothing on it except for 2 mp3s. Also, should the iDrive be able to see the memory stick and the iPod at the same time since they are in different USB slots?
