Vanity mirror perspiration

Yesterday my girlfriend was checking herself out in the passenger vanity mirror and noticed that it has some water droplets on it, almost as if it were perspiring! I looked at mine too and it has the same thing.

Has anyone else noticed this, seems very odd?

Will try to take a picture later...

Did u just finish having sex? Maybe thats why.. Used to happen to me a long time ago in my mini cooper...

Mine does the same, so I leave vanity mirror slider open, but still leave the vanity in the up position so nothing molds.

I haven't seen mine do that but it could just be all the humidity down here.

Ha Ha I wasn't having sex in there, at least not recently! I dont htink its a leak I ran my hand all around it and nothing else was wet or even damp.

It sits out in the sun all day though and as nikki says it get's HOT down here. Some other Florida members check this out later for me...please!

If I leave the slider open does the light stay on and ultimately run kill the bulb?

I just checked it and yep the passenger side vanity mirror has condensation in it, but not the driver's side. That's why i never noticed, since it is only the passenger's.

I took this picture but it was quite tricky this is the best one I got. Its relaly bugging me now so Im contemplating calling the dealership!

Yes, I just had the same problem in my windshiled, but it was pretty bad all over the lover half of the windshiled. And now I am noticing it on the drivers window too.
Factory defect.

Dont worry your not the only one it happens to my vanity mirror to its because of the heat. to much humidity what happens if you run the air in the car real cold then turn off your a/c and put your windows down as you see your rearview mirror gets all foggy (hence the humidity)and gets wet same thing happens to your vanity mirror but since you dont use it all the time some water gets trapped behind the door nothing major grab a towel and wipe it up..

Our passenger miror is doing same thing. I thought it was glue oozing from the heat. Not very humid here in so. cal.

mine looked kinda oily at first too and I thought maybe it was some kind of grease to help tthe mirror cover slide.

I guess its not a big deal as long as it doesnt get moldy but its one of those things that now I noticed it bugs the s**t out of me!
