rear brake lights

Arn't the e90's supposed to be fitted with brake force lights, you know the harder you brake the more light comes on, checked mine and they dont change, anyone else check theirs??

are you talking about adaptive brake lights? if so, it only works when you're moving and stop suddently.

Yup, it's not based on how firm you press the pedal (progressively). My understanding is that you have to suddenly stomp on it for that feature to enable.

The brake force lights come into action when the ABS comes into play, under heavy braking.

yeah, this topic has been covered before, search is your friend.

it comes on when ABS is engaged, so I'm not sure if you want to try it just to see 'if it works'.

I read before it comes on when you are 'decelerating' over a certain rate as well as when the ABS is in action.

It comes on when it senses you are emergency braking. Works great as is.
