335i W/Paddles
Test drove 335i alpine white, premium, coral red leather, step w/PADDLES
The car had no sport package but it had paddles shifters... I thought this was extremely strange...from what I understood and what my dealer understood the paddles were only available with the sport package... Anyone know if they are available w/out sport...is it possible that BMW was sleeping behind the wheel and let this one slip through. |

Also the origional build sheet BMW provided to North American Dealers states that the sport package is required to get the paddles. |

Yeah, you're right I think. I didn't read close enough. Once I clicked on the option it said it required Sport package. My bad.
They are a $100 option after you get the automatic and sport I guess. |

The ordering guide definitely says that the Sport Package is required for Paddles. It sounds like the ordering and/or production system has some flaw that allowed this to sneak through. Was it an ordered car by a customer (or the dealer)?

So, what were your feelings about the 'Coral Red' leather (was the trim 'Gray Poplar'?) -- some say the red is darker in person than in some of the pic.'s we've seen... -Thanks, -BimmerDreamerFL |

almost all of the cars currently at the dealerships are the same colors and option packages you had to have driven it with the sports package there is no way they are going to have one of only three demo cars at your dealership driving around on 17's and with a combo that you cannot purchase BMW does some occasional dumb things but I can't see your dealership being different than all the others and having a config. that you can't even buy check again

The coral red leather was slightly darker in person than in photos....It was nice however I don't think I could handle it for an every day driver. Next time I get to the dealer I will try and take some photos in natural light....and try to capture the true color. |

I even checked the window sticker both myself and the dealer were extremely shocked that there was no sport package... He did not even realize until I pointed it out.... If you don't believe me check for yourself... Rallye Motors Roslyn NY... PM me for the dealers name and direct number. |

Nope not speechless I just thought this was hashed out enough on the other board. I wrote that but did not think that I had posted it because obviously they have non-sport packages at the dealership. Again things slip through. If you think hard enough I bet you slept with a girl you wouldn't have slept with if you hadn't been drunk The factory doesn't allways know what the marketing people are doing. Chill dude. Things happen 2, 3, 4, threads all on this subject seriously get laid, get a hobby, walk away from the computer.....
