WSTO - BASTUCK E9X M3 Special
Dear M3Post members,
We are proud to offer Bastuk & Co. GmbH Exhaust systems for the M3. As you may remember, the older Bastuck Clubsport Exhaust system had a similar to OEM one canister design that was chunky and heavy and a little too tame on sound. Bastuck has redesigend this system to work with all variations of the M3, including Coupe. Features: - 4x85mm Double Walled Tips - Full Bolt-On - Mates to Original Stock pipes or Aftermarket X-pipes, such as Fabspeed - TUV certified and has sound levels at about 90db. Intro Price: $1950 Please Call/PM/Email to Order! Here is picture of the system on Rom3n's M3 with the ESS supercharger. Please Call/PM/Email to Order!

Hey Julius, the connecting pipes look horribly flattened on that M3, but they're not on the pictures on your first post. What's the deal?
My other question is if those mufflers have internal anti-resonance chambers. Want the cabin noise like stock above 2,500 rpm. Thx. |

It is actually not as flattened as they look like on the picture. Bastuck initially designed the pipes on the Prototype (first post) for the E92 and then they modified the final version to allow for the Convertible bracing. the pipes have been a crease but it is in noway flattened to undermine the flow of the exhaust gas. infact, Bastuck has designed the system to a straight connecting pipe instead of the regular (OEM) S-configuration to allow for better flow. the Chambers are resonated chambers, for a TUV approved sound level of about 93db. the comfort level of these exhausts are much like the stock, while changing the tone of the exhaust and raising the sound level a tad bit. great for those daily driven cars that want a change in exhaust note without being overly loud and prominent.

Some have asked about the length of the tips. In reference to Eisenmann E92 M3, exhaust, they are shorter by about 3/4".
