Xenon License Plate Lights?

Is it possible to transfer them from an 09 328i sedan to an 06 330i sedan? If so, will an error message show?

We do have a set of LED plate bulbs available for the early E9x that does not throw a bulb out error, they can be found here on our website:

You can try, some 06's will throw errors though. Your best option are the RD License Plate Light Housings which do not throw an error.

We can confirm our our bulbs do not throw an error code on the 06 models.

The UHP LED license plate lamps are error free even on 06' models
