Couldnt help thinking the same thing... never seen a fully gutted E9x before. Are there any pics of the car now?

Looks like the premium sound - someone should be all over picking that up as a cheap upgrade over the base system...

Whats a reasonable offer I can make for the premium sound system?

Also, what parts am I going to need from him? I'm guessing amp and speakers. Anything else come to mind??

Taking into account both what is available aftermarket and the fact that its a $1900 option, and he probably wants to recoup some of that money, I would offer $500-700. More than that, I would say buy aftermarket parts, less and I wouldnt take the offer. But thats just me...
