E92 Seatbelt assist problem

My seat belt assist misses the seatbelt sometimes. It looks like because the belt is getting warped so the arm is not grabbing it.

Anybody else have this problem??

Had the same problem. Made an appointment for service. Then went to grab belt and broke off the arm!. Fixed under warranty, although it took 2 visits because they had to order parts. Unfortunately, BMW had a good idea but did not sweat the details to make it work all the time. Mine works as designed about 90% of the time. Same for the Comfort Acess. Frustrating the 10% of the time that it doesn't work.

Yeah especially since its on the passenger side and its kinda embarrasing! I thought about ironing the belt so it would take the warp out.

My car is out of warranty too

After nearly two years mine has failed about 4 times total! I'm actually impressed how well it works. Take it to the dealer; maybe the belt retractor and not the assistant.
