Just wondering what the B3 was all about in terms of what they change about the car and the price and what not. And is it true that you can only get one in an autobox?

bmw is never going to bring in the B3 because it would probably take a small chunk of M3 sales. i think this because iv heard that one of the reasons why they dont waste their time with an M7 is because of the alpina B7. plus most people dont even know what an alpina is. as far as the gearbox is conserned, the lower range less powerful models are available with a manual (D3, which is a 2.0l deisel). the B3S is not. i love the alpina models, old and new. if i was getting a 3 sedan i would try to do a total alpina recreation. one thing i want to find is the alpina blue gauges in the cluster. that would look sick.

I could have sworn I have seen a B5 in Morgantown. That's why I thought they were sold here. I guess somebody could have just rebadged their car. I didn't pay attention to the rims or the exhaust pipes so I can't know for sure. That's a shame though I bet there would be a decent market for B3's.
