Casting mark on outside of oem whels?
I just wondered about the casting marks on the outside of oem bmw wheels. Most I've seen are "13", but I also have one that is "1". I assume this corresponds to the factory that produces the wheel. The extra wheel I have marked "1" also has the BBS logo on the inside, but the others are marked "13" with no BBS logo inside the wheel. I just wondered if someone was knowledgable about this and maybe the different companies that BMW obviously sublets wheel manufacturing duties to.

No idea but think most of the wheels casted are done by bbs the 230 for sure since bbs is selling the same wheel
